So I am back with another Sugar baby & Today I am gonna be talking about one of their Contour De Force Face Palette’s & the one that I have here is called Vivid Victory! 🙂 The other face palette in this range is called Subtle Summit which is more cool toned & like the name goes Subtle! than Vivid Victory but before we get into these palette’s….Let’s just admire that super quirked out packaging ~ Never has a card-board box packaging looked that schmexy! & I really like the way that unlike the way it was with the eyeshadow quads, these actually feel sturdy & then they have a mirror too 🙂
Both the Palette’s have 3 Pans & in Vivid Victory Contour De Force Palette, there is a Medium Matte Bronzer, A Warm Gold Highlight & a Deep Pink blush that has very subtle plum undertones (Starting from Left to Right) ~ The shades in this palette can be used to create a subtle glam look! I felt that the highlighter in this palette was the most pigmented of all ~ The other’s were pigmented too but the matte bronzer & the blush really showed it’s victory by the 2nd or 3rd layer I’d say! So Pigmentation wise, these vary & not all are super-pigmented.
Talking of the staying power, these stay on well underneath a good base & for all day long plus they apply really well too! All in All, I’d say these are not exactly the contour de face kind of palette’s but they make very good face palettes. The only thing that I am not too thrilled about is the price ~ Each of these reatils for 800 bucks a pop & that is slightly premium when compared to the drugstore beings but If you don’t mind that , then these can be worth the whirl!
Wearing Sugar’s Contour De Force Face Palette underneath Sugar’s BB Cream which is uhhmazing & If you wanna know about that one…Hop over here!
