Happy Saturday Dearies,
Howz your weekend coming along…Mines a little packed nd Buzy bcoz I have to pack for the Next Wedding which is in 2 weeks and really nothing is in place. This time it will be in Jaipur…The schedule is kinda packed so I don’t know how much are we gonna see the city but it is still gonna be fun! 😀
Anyyoohoo you Remember my cousins Wedding, the one I attended while I was in Lucknow, where I tempted you with that delicious Potato Basket Chaat 😉
Well, For that Wedding, I wore a Zari Saree. And Please don’t judge me…But this time was really my first successful attempt with a Saree! I know I am such a clumsy bag 😳 I have worn Saree Twice before but both times I was just a mess! I was petrified thinking it would just open up…or I would step on it nd fall…And other Silly things…More than anything else I just didn’t think I could carry it.
So When this Wedding came Nd all my cousins blackmailed me, I thought I will give it one more try & Fortunately everything went well….Yayieee Nd I managed to look like a lady 😉 Unfortunately I don’t have too many Pics since the function was late in the Evening And it was already beyond Dusk…So a lot of Pics didn’t turn out too well…
OOTD: Pistachio Green and Gold Zari Saree, Wedding in Lucknow
The Pistachio Green N Gold Zari Saree was brought from Silk Emporium Exhibition that happens bi-annually at Cuffe Parade, Mumbai. The Saree has a gorgeous Bronze border which is why I decided to go with Bronze toned Jewellery. There were 2 options Gold Nd Bronze..I tried gold immitation jewelry but for some reason, it did not compliment the attire. So all my Colaba Causeway Nd Hill Road Shopping Hauls came to Rescue. 😉 I accesorized with Bronze n Pearl Necklace, Earrings & Ring. And Went with Bronze Kadas on the wrist. All the accessories in this outfit are from Bandra & Colaba Causeway.
Face: Since this was going to be an all-night programe inclusive of activities like Juta Churaai, Dancing Nd all.. I wanted to make sure my makeup stays fresh for atleast 8-10 hours. So I primed my Face with Colorbar’s Studio Fix Primer & then Applied MAC Studio Fix Foundation. The Duo ensured that the Makeup Stayed Fresh and long lasting through the entire Wedding. The Dewy Cheeks were courtsey of MAC’s Warm Soul – A Be-yoooo-tiful Peachy Blush. For the rest of the Face, I contoured and added some definition using NYC Sunny Bronzer.
Eyes: I used Lime Yellow Nd Green Shade from my Coastal Scents 88 Mirage Eyeshaow Palette to create this look. Sadly The Flash is making them all fuzzy I lined my eyes with Faces Long Wearing Eye Pencil…I have to say it is the creamiest and Blackest of all the liners I have used to date! Next up was the time to Coat the Lashes with L’oreals Volluminous Mascara. Few Coats of this baby really volumized my lashes…Not in a Million ways though 😉
Lips: And the look was completed with Lakme’s Coffee Command – A Universlly flattering Peachy Nude Lipstick!!!
Nails: We were all supposed to opt for a comfy outfit when the Pheras were supposed to start that’s why I decided to go with a Traditional Red, It matches with allmost every outfit when it comes to Weddings So I went with 2 coats of Sally Hansens Red Carpet.
Blouse Nd Saree: Silk Emporium Exhibition, Cuffe Parade
Jewelry: Colaba Causeway, Hill Road – Bandra
Shoes: Janpath Market, Lucknow
Nails: Red Carpet by Sally Hansen
And Tempting you even more… 😉
After all the posing nd all, You know where, how n what I indulged into 😉 In my second love…FOOD! Some Attractions from the Wedding for all you foodies out there!
And that’s it! Hope you had fun My Dearies
